Daughter

I see myself in you

And I try

I try not to let you repeat my mistakes

I try to help you see what can be done differently

But you also need to stumble to learn

To learn that mistakes are ok

To learn that doing your best and failing does not mean that you’re a failure

To know that there will be roadblocks in life

To know that you can take a different path

And I will always be here to help you if you need it

I will be your cheerleader

I will be your belief

I will be your support

I will love you no matter what

I want you to know that you can be anyone, anything

My daughter

You are limitless
